1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account or using Unitute services, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of your institution and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using the platform immediately.
2. Accounts and Access
2.1 Account Integrity
- You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information at all times.
- You must protect credentials and restrict unauthorized access to user accounts.
- You must notify Unitute promptly of suspected account compromise.
2.2 Administrative Responsibility
Institution administrators control user roles and data permissions within their organization. Actions performed under assigned credentials are deemed authorized by the institution unless reported otherwise.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to misuse Unitute. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Attempting unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or confidential data.
- Uploading malicious code, spam, or content that disrupts platform operations.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or reproducing service components without permission.
- Using the platform in violation of applicable education, data, or commercial laws.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Unitute offers recurring subscription plans billed in advance. Plan pricing, billing cycle, and usage limits are shown during checkout or in your institution billing dashboard.
- Invoices must be paid by the due date to maintain uninterrupted access.
- Late or failed payments may result in temporary feature restrictions.
- Taxes and payment gateway charges may apply where required.
5. Intellectual Property
Unitute retains all rights, title, and interest in platform software, design assets, documentation, and branding. Institutions retain ownership of their uploaded operational and academic data.
You grant Unitute a limited, non-exclusive right to process your data solely for delivering and improving services.
6. Service Availability and Changes
We aim for high service availability, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance windows, upgrades, and third-party outages may affect service continuity.
Unitute may update features, interfaces, and technical requirements to maintain security, compliance, and service quality.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unitute is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from service use, downtime, or third-party integrations.
Total liability in any claim is limited to fees paid by your institution for the affected subscription period.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where Terms are materially breached, payment obligations are unmet, or security risks are detected. Institutions may terminate by cancelling renewal before the next billing cycle.
